Rooney

Ferguson:

"He has aggravated his groin again, I don't think it is serious. I think he will be OK for England."

Rooney is too important to England for him not to be on top form. But who should play alongside him?

Crouch, Defoe, Cole, Zamora, Heskey, Agbonlahor, Bent, who should got to the World Cup?

I would rule out Agbonlahor and Zamora straight away, and I fear for England if these two are picked. They have had good seasons, Zamora most noticeably, but I fear that they are simply not good enough and inconsistent to be relied upon by the whole of England.
Heskey doesn't score goals but is apparently a good partner for strikers.

I would go with 3 definite strikers - Rooney, Crouch and Defoe, and the other one depends on who those three would prefer to play with.
